Where the data comes from
Every voting record on this site is pulled from the GovTrack API — a free, public mirror of the official congressional roll-call record. Each vote in every article links directly to its GovTrack page, which in turn cites the official Senate or House record. You can verify every single line.
Our editorial stance
We take no position on any vote. A vote is the clearest, least-deniable thing a member of Congress does: it is on the record, it is public, and it cannot be walked back. We simply put the record in one place so you can hold it up against what a politician tells you.
